Vernon Center-Mary M. Furmanski, age 85, of College Hill Road passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, January 22, 2025 in Oneida Health. She was born on April 26, 1939 in Utica, New York a daughter of the late Kenneth and Sadie (Pendrak) Milne and was a graduate the Whitesboro Schools. On September 18, 1965 Mary and William C. Furmanski were united in marriage in Whitesboro, New York and have shared this union of over fifty-nine years together. Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her husband and seven children. She had a flair for crafting and gave adult classes on craft making. She spent much of her time with her family especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Surviving is her husband, William C. Furmanski of Vernon Center, her seven children and their spouses, Wendy Baird of Statesville, NC, Judy (Ray) Jolley of Santa Clara, UT, Diane McNellis of Windsor, VA, Charlene (Joe) Valentine of Syracuse, Debbie (Bob) Moran of Verona, Patricia Butala of Provo, UT and William (Carrie) Furmanski of Plano, MD, 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law; Eugene Furmanski of Ocala, FL. and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by a grandson Wesley Valentine, great-grandson, Cameron McClure and her siblings Daniel Milne and Jessie Stufflebeam. In keeping with Mary's wishes there will be no services.
