Obituary of Linda A. McElroy

Vernon-Linda Ann McElroy, 68, of Vernon passed away peacefully at the Oneida Extended Care Facility on Thursday, January 30, 2025 after a long illness.
  Linda was born on February 28, 1956 in Rome, New York a daughter of Shirley (Bagnall) Reali the 5th of 8 children and was a graduate of Rome Free Academy.
 She enjoyed a quiet life at home, doing her puzzle books, cooking and watching her shows.
  Surviving are her three children, Tanya Moore, Ashley Sweatman and Kady McElroy, her mother, Shirley Reali; and her siblings; Donald Wiggins of MI, Robert (Colleen) Wiggins of Hornell, Richard (Cindy) Wiggins of Rome, David (Lisa) Wiggins of Rome, and Joann (Robert)  Garafolo of Liverpool and many nieces and nephews.
  Linda was predeceased by her stepfather, Angelo Consiglio and her brothers; Thomas Wiggins and Gary Wiggins; as well as her beloved dog Buddy.
