Obituary of Jeannine A. DeWolfe

Canastota-Jeannine A. DeWolfe passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, April 22, 2025, with her loving family by her side, at the age of 66.
   She was born on September 20, 1958, in Manlius, New York, a daughter of Richard and Mabel N. (Kingsley) Gathmann. Jeannine was a graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School and went on to earn her master’s degree in engineering from Columbia University.
  Prior to her retirement, Jeannine was employed by Lockheed Martin and Utica National Insurance Company.
  On July 19, 2003, Jeannine and Timothy L. DeWolfe were united in marriage in Canastota, New York, and have shared the last twenty-one plus years together.
  In her spare time, Jeannine was an avid runner who enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities. She also loved reading and was always eager to learn. Jeannine cherished the times she spent with her family and especially with her grandchildren who she adored.
  Surviving are her husband Timothy L. DeWolfe; her four children and their spouses, Christina (Michael) Kumrow of Buffalo, Timothy L. (Ashley) DeWolfe Jr. of White Plains, Christopher DeWolfe of Rome, and Jennifer (Luke) Culver of Georgia; her father and stepmother, Richard Gathmann and Barbara Culligan of Manlius; six grandchildren; three brothers, Donald Gathmann of Manlius, Robert Gathmann of Fabius-Pompey and Lawrence Gathmann of Tully; and several nieces and nephews.
  Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home, 23 Front Street, Vernon, NY, 13476.
