Munnsville - Kathleen (Kathy) L. Dibble (62) of Munnsville passed away peacefully from natural causes early Tuesday morning May 6, 2025 at Suny Upstate Hospital with her loving family at her side as she took her final breath and went home to be with Jesus. Kathy was born on April 14, 1963 in Canastota, NY. She was predeceased by both her parents, Floyd (1991) and Rita (Kilbourne) (1974) Chaires, her 3 brothers, Mike (1984), Bobby (1992) and Danny (2010), 2 Step-brother in-laws, Jerry (2012) and Pete (2019), A Step mother, Bonnie (2005), A Step sister, Tammy (2006), Her best friend Shirley (2021) and her fur baby, Heidi Joy (2019) She is survived by her 2 children, A daughter, Danielle (Derek) Bouchard and a son, Bryan (Christopher) Mckinstry-Chase. 2 Grandchildren, Justin Collins and Jacob "Jakey Bean" Bouchard. 2 biological sisters, Sheila (Ray) Bartlett and Penny (Ed) Williams. 4 Step-sisters, Terry (Bill) Reed, Robin (Duane) Dibble Der, Linda Johnson and Ellen "Ellie" Johnson and a Step-brother, Reuben (Rusty) Dibble. Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Her Church Family, Her best friend Debbie, Her new fur baby Daisy and many friends who loved her dearly. Kathy was an alumni from Stockbridge Valley Central School and she went on to earn her bachelor's degree as a registered nurse who came to be one of the most amazing Nursing Supervisors/Clinical Care Coordinators for over 20+ years. She loved taking care of Heidi Joy and Daisy, writing poems, writing songs, reading the Bible and donating time to Vernon Baptist Church. She was very dedicated to her Christianity faith. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 9-11 AM at Vernon Baptist Church, 11 Mill Street Vernon, NY. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the church followed by fellowship with food and refreshments being donated by Eric and Deb Warner and Kathy's church family. Arrangements are with Malecki Funeral Home of Vernon. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made in Kathy's honor to Vernon Baptist Church or the Susan G. Komen for the cure as Kathy was a breast cancer survivor for 30 years.
