Obituary of Jacklyn E. Goldthwait

Sherrill-Jacklyn E. Goldthwait passed away at her Pexton Street IRA early Monday morning, October 6, 2025 and joined the angels in heaven at the age of forty-four.

  She was born on May 21, 1981 in Syracuse, New York and enjoyed eating out, going for walks, fragrant smelling lotions and being pampered getting her nails done.

  Surviving is her mother Christine and step father Jim Hockey of Hastings, her maternal grandmother Bonnie Winchell of Hastings, sister Abby (Steve) Girofalo of Onondaga Hill, her three brothers, Dallas, Zahary and Anthony Hockey, niece, Alyssa, and nephews, Dante and Joseph. Also surviving are her many friends and the caring staff at the Pexton Street IRA.

  In keeping with the family’s wishes there will be no public services. A private graveside service with burial will be held at the family’s convenience in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
