Obituary of Stanley W. Tyminski Jr.

Sherrill-Stanley W. Tyminski Jr. passed away Sunday evening November 30, 2025 in the Oneida Health Center at the age of 84.

  He was born on June 14, 1941 in Rome, New York a son of the late Stanley W. Sr. and Sophie (Malinowski) Tyminski and was a Vernon Verona Sherrill High School graduate.

  On December 28, 1963 Stanley and Tamara A. D’Avignon were united inmarriage in Durhamville, New York and have shared that union of nearly sixty-two years together.

  Prior to his retirement Stanley was employed as a foreman with the Oneida Limited Silversmith and owned and operated his own electrical business, Stan’s Electric. During retirement Stanley worked various part-time jobs.

He will be lovingly missed by his family.

 Surviving is his wife, Tamara A. Tyminski of Sherrill, two daughters, Lora Tyminski of Oneida and Lisa Powell of Clinton; and grandson Michael Powell of Utica.  

  In keeping with Stanley’s wishes all services will be private. Spring inurnment will be in Sherrill-Kenwood Columbarium, Middle Road, Oneida, NY. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
