To Joe, Ann, and their families,
As Gary was hauling my 5th week camper from Florida to the AOK Camp Grounds in Ava, NY. we were talking about all the song lyrics Joe had made up to the current songs of the fifties and sixties. I told Gary I had asked Joe if he had ever written down the lyrics and he said he had not. Next I said, “Well we probably won't see him again until his father dies.” His reply was, “I think he just died.”
Today I found the obituary. I feel so sorry for all of you. I know how it feels to lose both of your parents and that sick and lost feeling never goes away. You can't imagine how many times I have said, “Dad would know the answer to that.” Grieving takes a long time so if either one of you wants to reminisce or just talk I'm ready to talk. I'm still in Florida but will be back in NY (Ava this time) by the middle of May. Ann, you have my cell phone number and Joe, you should have my e-mail. Please get in touch.
