Obituary of Patricia A. Jeror

Patricia A. Jeror 72 of Vernon, NY was reunited with her mother in heaven Wednesday January 1, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Patricia was a 1970 graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School. Patricia worked as a Phlebotomist at Oneida Hospital, St Luke's Hospital and Centrex Labs before becoming an Operating Room Technician at Rome Memorial Hospital where she retired in 2012. Patty took a lot of pride in her job and loved what she did as well as those she worked with. After retiring Patty enjoyed spending time with her family and loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She also loved spending time with her best friend & partner in crime Becky Bye. Patty enjoyed camping, sitting around a campfire with a good White Russian listening to music. Patricia was looking forward to watching her grandson Christian get married this June, now she will be watching from heaven. Patricia was predeceased by her parents George and Margaret Vollmar. Patricia is survived by her husband David Jeror of Rome, a daughter Jodie Friend , Ron Debarr of Vernon, NY, a son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Shelby Jeror of Clinton, NY, and her eight grandchildren who she loved more than anything in the world , Christian Tiffin and his fiancé Gabrielle of Latham, NY, Camryn Tiffin of Oneida, NY, Connor Tiffin of Vernon, NY, Reagan Friend of Vernon, NY, Kiera and Danae Friend of Oneida, NY, Elliott and Shyloh Jeror of Clinton, NY. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at SUNY Upstate and The Upstate Cancer Center at Verona for their kindness and excellent care. Thank you to Tina and the staff at Waterville Rehabilitation Center. Patricia did not want calling hours or a formal funeral service. The family will be holding a celebration of life in Patricia's honor at a date TBD. Patricia would like everyone who loved her to drink a White Russian in her memory.
