Obituary of Eulonde T. Volkman

Eulonde T. Volkman Sherrill-Eulonde T. Volkman, age 66, of E. Seneca Street passed away late Friday evening May 6, 2016 in the Oneida Healthcare Center with her loving family at her side. Born on January 14, 1950 in Oneida, New York, Eulonde was the daughter of the late Francis R. and Elizabeth J. (Rashford) Hynes and was a graduate of Madison Central School. Eulonde and Andrew J. Volkman were united in marriage in October of 1968 in Waterville, New York and shared that loving union until Mr. Volkman's death on September 28, 2000. Prior to moving back to Sherrill Eulonde was a member of the VFW Post 4833 and Amvets Post 1292 of Milton, Florida. She enjoyed cooking, baking and watching and going to NASCAR races. Her favorite past time was putting together jig-saw puzzles. Surviving are her three children, Joseph Volkman of Edgewater, FL, Janine LaLonde (Gene) of Blytheville, Arkansas, Michael (Jodie) Volkman of Galeton, PA, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, six siblings, Michael (Helen) Hynes of Madison, Emily Hynes of Martinsburg, WV, Sharon Roher of Milton, Fl, Daniel (Pam) Hynes of Madison, Darcy Snetsinger of Sherrill and Scott Hynes of Milton, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Eulonde's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home, Sherrill, NY.
