Obituary of Jalynn M. Colon

Jalynn Madison Colon Vernon-Jalynn Madison Colon, age 9, a Fourth Grader at J. D. George School passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 26, 2016 at her home a day after her 9th birthday. She had a vibrant spirit and will always be remembered for her love for water, music, smelling the fresh flowers and for sitting in a window soaking in the sun. Surviving are her loving parents, Michele Burrows and Eric Compoli of Vernon, her siblings, Anthony Burrows, Patrick Burrows, Danielle Colon, Jason Colon, Dylan Colon and his fiancé Madison, two nephews, Gabriel Colon and Dylan Colon Jr., maternal grandparents, Earl “John” and Charlene Reed of Clinton, paternal grandparents, Carmen Jr. and Mary Ann Compoli of Canastota and numerous other relatives. The family would like to thank all the people who have sent their kind words of condolences at this time. The family has chosen to celebrate the life of Jalynn at a private gathering at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon, NY.
