Rosetta "Rosie" Hall
Verona-Rosetta "Rosie" Hall, age 87, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, May 28, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on April 10, 1930 in Williamstown, NY, a daughter of the late John and Laura McNamara.
On May 20, 1950 Rosie and Leo K. Hall were united in marriage in Camden, NY and the couple shared this loving vow of over fifty-nine years together until Leo's death on October 22, 2009.
Rosie was a former member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Altar Rosary Society. She most enjoyed her time at her home caring for her husband and children and later her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her special feline friend "Peaches".
Surviving are her five children and their spouses, Dan and Linda Hall of Westmoreland, Kris and Pat Conley of Verona, Kevin and Kathy Hall of New Russia, Mike and Terri Hall of Madison and Amy and Gene Mason of Vernon Center, nine grandchildren, Zach and Jackie Conley, Marny Kinne, Erin Conley, Brandi and Dan Masker, Ashley Mason, Mike and Abbey Hall, Caleb Hall, Megan Hall and Hunter Mason, five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Sierra and Peyton Kinne, Ryder Conley and Reese Masker and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Lynne Digennaro for her kind and compassionate care given to Rosie during her illness.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Rosie's life on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Peterboro Street, Vernon where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Immediately following the Mass the family invites everyone to a brunch that will be prepared for guests at the Verona VFW on Spring Road in Verona. Private burial will be in Verona Cemetery, Verona, NY. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., Vernon, NY. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
