Westmoreland-Brian G. Wallace, age 76 of Westmoreland passed away peacefully at his home on 8/29/17, surrounded by the loving embrace of his family.
Brian was born in 1941 in Toronto, Ontario Canada to the late Fredrick and Marguerite "Micky" Johnston Wallace. He shared many wonderful experiences growing up on Lake Ontario with his brother's Ken and Grant.
Brian is a veteran of the United States Air Force, and graduated from Utica College with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. He met the love of his life, Judith M. Haggerty and they were united in marriage on 9/6/69 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in New Hartford. Following their marriage, Brian and Judy moved to Canada and raised their two sons. They returned to the United States in August of 2000.
Brian was kind, smart, gentle and had a strong sense of integrity, wisdom and insight. He approached life with a positive attitude and had a great ability to make everyone in his presence feel his love and acceptance. He was never too busy to offer a helping hand and loved nature.
Brian is survived by his wife Judy; his two children, Michael Wallace, James (Colleen) Wallace; three grandchildren Connor, Julianne, Carter; his brother Grant (Shirley) Wallace; cherished in-laws Justin Haggerty, John (Connie) Haggerty, Jim (Sue) Haggerty and Christine Haggerty and many wonderful and caring nieces and nephews and their children; Lifelong friends Richard and Joyce Lallier and family.
Brian was predeceased by his brother Ken Wallace and sister-in law Cathy Haggerty.
Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
