Obituary of Florence A. Ford

Oriskany Falls-Florence A. Ford, age 77, of Sharman Road passed away at her home on Tuesday evening October 15, 2019. She was born on August 18, 1942 in Oneida, New York a daughter of the late Dayton and Catherine (Cronin) Mumford and attended area schools. On October 22, 1976 Florence and Bill Ford were united in marriage in Hamilton, NY and have shared this union of nearly forty-three years together. Prior to her retirement Florence was employed with Sherwood Medical of Oriskany Falls. She enjoyed reading, baking, cooking and working around the house. Most of all she enjoyed her time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband Bill Ford of Augusta, one son Thomas Luchsinger of Oriskany Falls, one daughter Susan Card of Oriskany Falls, grandchildren, Samuel Vincent, Jessica Luchsinger, Jerry Luchsinger, Michael and Jeremy Morey, beloved great-grandchildren; Charity, Miley, Jacoby, Noah and Adelia Morey, Parker Lubey, Gabe Luchsinger and Myles Loucks, sisters; Mildred (Leslie) Fey, Nancy Swan and Katherine (George) Henry, brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, Stanley Maciag, Wayne (Pam) Ford, Darlene Clark, father-in-law, Elmer Ford and several nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her parents, stepfather Walter Zichek and two sisters, Joyce Maxwell and Bernice Maciag and mother-in-law Hazel Ford.
