Obituary of Douglas W. Schieferstine

Lowell-Douglas W. Schieferstine, age 47, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in St. Luke's Healthcare Center. He was born on February 2, 1973 in Rome, New York a son of the late Donald and Ann (West) Schieferstine and attended the local schools. Doug worked on the Schieferstine Family Farm his entire life. He enjoyed being on the computer where he especially liked playing video games. Surviving are his three brothers and their spouses, David and Bonnie Schieferstine, Daniel and Laurie Schieferstine and Dewayne and Tressa Schieferstine, several nieces, several nephews, several great-nieces and several great-nephews, as well as a special friend Tina Woodcock and her family and his best buddy canine companion Rex. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Doug's life on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowell Cemetery at the intersection of Lowell Rd. and Boyd Road in Lowell, NY.
