Obituary of Andrea L. Brown

Vernon-Andrea L. Brown, age 77, a lifelong Vernon resident passed away peacefully Friday evening January 1, 2021 in St. Luke's Healthcare Center with her loving family at her side. She was born in Vernon Center, New York on April 28, 1943 a daughter of the late James J. and Carmella Cuomo and was a 1961 graduate of V.V.S. Central School. Prior to her retirement Andrea was employed with the Central New York DDSO. She had a bubbly outgoing personality, friendly smile and enjoyed playing bingo and having coffee while chatting with her friends. Andrea was a member of Holy Family Church of Vernon. Surviving are her two daughters and two sons-in-law, Rosemary (Roger) Eaton and Annamarie (Brian) Rascoe all of Vernon, her beloved grandchildren, Justin Eaton, Travis Eaton (fiancé Katie Binder), Andy Eaton, Briana (Max) Cahn and Hunter Rascoe, four great-grandchildren, Hayden, Olivia, Oaklyn Eaton and Mason Cahn, also one sister, Carol Dunlap. Andrea was predeceased by her son James J. Brown and sister Sandy Welch. Due to COVID 19 restrictions graveside services and burial will be in the spring at Vernon Center Cemetery, Vernon Center, NY.
