Obituary of Anna M. Barden

Vernon- Anna M. (Holzenleuchter-LaMonica) Barden, age 84, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Anna was born on October 23, 1936 in Lauf Germany. In 1958 she met her first Love, U.S. Army Serviceman, Charles A. LaMonica. They were married and had their first daughter Bianca, in Nuremberg Germany. Charles was then transferred to an Army base in Georgia, where their second daughter, Benita was born. After Charles was honorably discharged, the family returned to Rochester, N.Y. where their third daughter Belinda was born. Anna took pride and joy in raising her family! She loved cooking, baking, listening to music and had a notable sweet tooth! On August 27, 1983 she married her second Love, Richard A. Barden. Anna is survived by her husband Richard Barden of Vernon, NY. Her daughters: Benita (Doug) Sundquist of Webster, NY and Belinda (Frank) LaMonica-Carloni of Verona, NY. Grandchildren: Ariane, Adam (Aubrey), Cari and Evan. Great-Grandchildren: Alyssa, Noah, Tobiah, Angelo, Ayden and Amari. Great-Great Grandchild: Coraline. Also, many extended family in Germany, close friend Kathy Elmer and Anna's Beloved feline fur-baby Gracie! Anna was predeceased by her first husband Charles LaMonica and her daughter Bianca (Lauterbach). A special thank you to Dr. Andrew Wight and all the Doctors and Nurses at Oneida Healthcare Center.
