Obituary of Theresa L. Ero

Champlain-Theresa L. Ero, age 79, of State Rt. 276 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in St. Luke's Healthcare with her family at her side after being stricken ill while visiting her daughter in central New York. She was born on May 2, 1942 in Champlain, New York a daughter of the late Adolphus and Lucille (Jarvis) LaCount and attended St. Mary's School and was a graduate of NCCS School. On December 26, 1960 Theresa and David S. Ero were united in marriage in St. Mary's Church of Champlain and shared that sacred vow of forty years together until Mr. Ero's death on December 30, 2000. Prior to her retirement Theresa was employed with Delagar Warehouse in Rouses Point, NY. Theresa loved her family and spending time with each and every one of them. Surviving are her five children and their spouses, Stephen (Stephanie) Ero, Rebecca (Keith) Yelle, Luke (Leslie) Ero, Hollie Ackerman and Crystal Ero, her live in granddaughter Yasemin Ero as well as many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are her sister Gloria Hart and brother John LaCount. Theresa was predeceased by her two sisters, Carol Duquette and Linda LaCount and a brother Russell LaCount. In keeping with Theresa's wishes there will be a funeral service at St. Mary's Church of Champlain on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Reception to follow at Theresa's home. Out of town arrangements were trusted to the Malecki Funeral Home of Sherrill, NY.
