Obituary of Marcus D. Finn

Oneida-Marcus D. Finn, age 44, of Seneca Street passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 1, 1976 in Rome, New York a son of the late David H. Finn and Donna L. (Eychner) Finn and was a graduate of the Westmoreland Schools. Marcus went on to further his education at Houghton College, where he received his Bachelor's degree in business and was currently pursuing his degree in social work at Herkimer Community College. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music, watching YouTube videos, and had a passion for high fashion. He was also an avid runner and ran in several Boilermaker Road Races. Surviving are his mother Donna L. Finn of Verona, Uncle Dale and Aunt Rob Finn of Rome, Aunt Pam and Uncle Paul Senecal of Rome, Aunt Jackie Morat of Rochester and Aunt Tutz Desgrosiellier of Rome, best friend Nicole Mastro, and many cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday July 6, 2021 from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 5652 E. Main Street, Verona, NY with Rev. Edmund Castronovo officiating.
