Obituary of Donna A. Nadeau

Sherrill-Donna A. Nadeau, age 100, formerly of E. Campbell Ave. and more recently of the Oneida Healthcare Extended Care Facility passed away early Monday morning August 16, 2021. She was born on June 27, 1921 at Eagle Lake, Winterville, Maine a daughter of the late Eloi and Mamie (Albert) Tardie and was a graduate of Caribou High School. On November 24, 1939 Donna and Roland F. Nadeau were united in marriage in Eagle Lake, Maine and shared that sacred vow of sixty-four years together until Roland's death on November 23, 2003. Donna was an outstanding chef and competed in the first New York State Chef's completion and placed second in the first competition and for the next three years took home the first place awards. She had a great love and devotion to St. Helena's Church and to her faith. Surviving are one daughter, Dianne M. and son-in-law James Hoffman of Reisterstown, MD., one son Fredric Nadeau and daughter-in-law Diann of Wilmington, Ohio, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday August 23, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Helena's Church, 210 Primo Ave. Sherrill, NY.
