Obituary of Kathleen A. Sheridan

Durhamville-Kathleen A. Sheridan, age 70, of State Rt. 46 passed away late Thursday afternoon October 21, 2021 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center after being stricken ill at home. She was born on October 24, 1950 in Queens, New York a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Catherine (Hart) Sheridan and was a graduate of St. Agnes High School in Queens. Prior to her retirement in 2003 Kathleen was employed as a manager with the Verizon Telephone Company. Kathleen was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. She enjoyed scrap booking, baking and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Matthew Lohr of Durhamville, her beloved grandchildren, Luke, Catherine, Margaret, Madeleine, Maria and Edmund, two brothers, Kenneth Sheridan of Texas and James Sheridan of Queens. Kathleen was predeceased by her parents and her brother Joseph A. Sheridan. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday October 27, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home, 23 Front Street, Vernon, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 5652 E. Main Street, Verona, NY with Rev. Edmund Castronovo celebrant.
