Obituary of Richard R. Bauer

Verona-Richard R. Bauer, age 67, formerly of Rock Road and more recently of the Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center passed away Monday afternoon, December 20, 2021 at the facility. He was born on October 7, 1954 in Rome, New York a son of Richard O. and Lois J. (Long) Bauer and was a graduate of Vernon Verona Sherrill School and received his associate's degree in business management. Prior to his retirement Richard was employed as a salesman with Eber's Wine and Liquors of Liverpool. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling and taking trips to Daytona for the NASCAR races. Surviving are his two sons, Brad M. (Kelly) Bauer of New Hartford, Brian T. (Jessica) Bauer of Verona, two grandsons, Blake Bauer and Liam Bauer, his father, Richard O. Bauer of Verona, his brother Michael (Vicki) Bauer of Brewerton and nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home, 23 Front Street, Vernon, NY where state and county regulations require a face mask.
