Obituary of Michael W. Inman

Munnsville-Michael W. Inman, age 84, of Mosquito Point Road passed away peacefully Thursday, March 3, 2023 in the Abraham House of Rome. He was born on August 9, 1938 in Utica, New York a son of the late Charles and Minnie (Stephenson) Inman and was a graduate of the Leonardsville Central Schools. After serving in the Army for two years as a water supply specialist and baseball player. While working full time Mike earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Administration at SUNY Morrisville (1973) and a Bachelor of Science Degree at SUNY Binghamton School of Management (1976.) Michael previously was an assistant manager with the Oneida Daily Dispatch in the circulation department and was a manager of the frozen foods department with Hannaford Grocery Stores. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and playing bingo with Ginny at Turning Stone. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, tennis and golf. Surviving are his companion of over thirty years, Virginia Frost of Munnsville, his four children, Michael (Jessie) Inman of San Francisco CA, Wendy Inman, Tim Inman and Terry (Cindy) Inman all of Phoenix AZ, one stepson Jeff Henry of Munnsville, four grandchildren, Kylie Inman, Parker Inman, Allison Inman, and Gray Inman. Also, three step-grandchildren, Ethan Snell, Jacob and Hunter Henry. His former spouse, Marilyn Inman of AZ., three siblings, Darlene (Richard) Sheldon of Winter Haven, Fl., Charles (Kathy) Inman of West Winfield and Richard (Wanda) Inman of Mohawk and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Michaels's wishes there will be no services. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home of Sherrill. In memory of Michael donations may be sent to the Abraham House, 417 N.
