Obituary of Patrick H. Egan

Patrick Hartley Egan, age 64 of Taberg, NY, beloved husband of Lulu Egan, passed away peacefully at home on December 4th, 2023.  
  Born in Oneida, NY on July 18th, 1959, to Reva Mae L. Egan and John H. Egan Jr., Patrick was raised in Sherrill NY with his eight siblings. Patrick attended VVS for high school before joining the military. Throughout his career, Patrick was self-employed with various businesses including a secondhand furniture store and a construction company (P&L Construction).
  On September 27th, 1997, Patrick and Lulu Egan were united in marriage and shared over 26 loving years together. Family was very important to Patrick, and he enjoyed spending time with those he loved, especially when camping and fishing. Recently, Patrick and Lulu moved to Taberg to be closer to family, specifically Lulu’s brother Allen (Mary) Snell.
  Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Reva Mae L. Egan and John H. Egan Jr.; his nephew John H. Egan IV; his sister-in-law Cindy Donaldson; and his brother-in-law Dan Scheiferstine. Patrick is survived by his wife Lulu Egan, his sister-in-law’s Janice (Keith) Hul, Kathy (Gary) Buczkowski, Nancy (John) Scheckelhoff, Chris (Bill) Simmons, and Laurie Scheiferstine; his brother-in-law’s Jimmy (Jamie) Pope, Allen (Mary) Snell, Bud (Kim) Snell;  his sisters Marsha Fort, Bette (Wayne) Vogt, Jacquelyn Egan, Veronica (Lynn) Taylor, Kathleen Egan, Pamela Egan, Mary Egan; his brothers John H. (Missy) Egan III, and Kenneth Egan; his children Christopher, Crystal, Deanna, Kathleen, Heather, and Patrick; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 
  There will be no calling hours or funeral services. A celebration of life will be determined at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to maleckifuneralhome.com
