Obituary of Gail P. (Lawrence) Hasbrouck

Rome-Palm Harbor, Fl- Gail P. (Lawrence) Hasbrouck, was born on June 19, 1942 a daughter of the late Lloyd and Clarabelle Lawrence of Stamford, NY and passed away to be with her Lord on Friday evening December 29, 2023. She was surrounded by her three daughters at the Oneida Extended Care Nursing Facility, Cindy (Steve) Wright of Stockbridge, Charleen (Walt) Burnor of Rome and Dawn LaShore of Oneida. Also surviving are her brother; Ira Lawrence of Arkville, grandchildren, Savannah Wright of Stockbridge, Stephen Wright of Munnsville, Matthew Bryant of TN, Nicole Leuenberger of Oriskany Falls, and ten great-grandchildren and several nephews and one niece. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Gilbert Lawrence, her sister, Sheila Ross and her husband of thirty years, Chester Hasbrouck. Gail was a charter member of the Moose Lodge of Palm Harbor, Fl. She managed the Palm Harbor Resort; a fishing, tackle and boating arena for many years where she made many friends. She cashiered for Publix Supermarket in Palm Harbor until she retired at the age of 76. Gail moved to New York a couple of years ago to be closer to her family. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and a sip of peanut butter whiskey. In keeping with Gail's wishes there will be no local services. She will be laid to rest with her husband in their columbarium in Pine Hills National Veterans Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Fl.
