Obituary of Joanne R. Krzyzanowski

Sherrill-Joanne R. Krzyzanowski, 84, formerly of Willow Place and more recently of Bradenton, Fl where she resided to be closer to her daughter passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024.

  She was born on March 30, 1940 in Oneida, New York a daughter of the late Richard E. and Ruth H. (Everson) Flander and was a graduate of Sherrill High School.

  On August 13, 1960 Joanne and Richard J. Krzyzanowski were united in marriage in Oneida and shared that loving vow until Richard’s death on May 25, 1987.

  Joanne enjoyed gardening and caring for the flowers around her home and time with her family.

  Surviving are her three children, Patricia Krzyzanowski of Bradenton, FL, John Krzyzanowski of Sherrill and Duane Krzyzanowski of Westmoreland, four grandchildren, Amanda (Zach) Freiermuth, Adam, Lucas, Ryan, Krzyzanowski, one great-grandson, Wyatt Krzyzanowski, one brother Robert (Marie) Flander of Marcy and several nieces, nephews and her feline friend Mitzy.

  Joanne was predeceased by her husband Richard, sister Linda Marsh and brother Bruce Flander.

   In keeping with Joanne’s wishes there will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Oneida Castle Cemetery, 2^nd Ave. Oneida Castle, NY.
