Memories from Jr. High Cousin Marj Everyone knows Kathie loved to read, but she was also an amazing writer! A favorite memory I have is when I discovered this hidden talent. It goes back to junior high English class. The English teacher loved to share good student writing, much to Kathie’s chagrin. Kathie was selected several times to have her stories read to the class. Kathie was mortified, but the class enjoyed the break and the stories were great!!!

I was a bit younger growing up. But I remember she was a great cousin with my two sisters Norma and Joyce. And later years, was a pleasure to visit with her at other family “lunches” to just catch up on the latest news. Kathy was a pleasant lady, interesting and successful at her goals. Proud to say she was my cousin. She will be missed. Sending the family prayers and love at this difficult time.

I will miss your mom she was a beautiful person.I did hair for over 36 years.I will think of her when I'm digging up the Canna Lily's in the Fall and replanting them in the Spring she gave them to me 15 years ago .Rest in peace Kathie.
